Digital X-ray, Dental Panoramic Radiograph (OPG)

An OPG is a panoramic X-ray of the upper and lower jaws, including the teeth. The OPG unit is specifically designed to rotate around the patient’s head during the scan. An OPG will take approximately 20 seconds.

An OPG can be used to look for

  • Fractures
  • Dislocated jaw
  • Infection
  • Dentition (teeth)

It can also be used for surgical planning.

Digital Cone Beam CT Scan (CBCT)

Cone beam CT scans provide more information that conventional dental x-ray, allowing for more precise treatment planning. CT scanning is painless, noninvasive and accurate.

A single CBCT scan can show potential dental issues such as tooth decay, bone loss, abnormal growths, facial fractures, periodontal infections, irregularities of the temporomandibular joint, and problems with the tooth roots or dental pulp.

Intraoral Scanner (itero)

What Are iTero Intraoral Scanners? Intraoral scanners from iTero scan the mouths of patients, capturing images to create three-dimensional dental images in minutes. Intraoral scanners are simple to use and eliminate the needs of traditional impression taking. Their user-friendly nature helps dental professionals get the best results.
